As there are endless and many practical ways for improving your English you could learn these kind of “SMALL AND SIMPLE SENTENCES” could be very useful for you to improve your English speaking skills…. because many may not know how to express certain simple or delicate things in daily life….. that would actually be very essential, useful and help you to get rid of feeling embarassed in many situations….



1. I have a burning sensation in my eyes.


I feel a burning sensation in my eyes.


My eyes feel a burning sensation.


My eyes feel an irritation.


This means you have an uneasy feeling or irritation in your eyes.



2. The louse(singular) is biting on my head. 

The lice are biting(plural) on my head.



This means you have parasitic insects biting on your head causing you itching and make you scratch your scalp.



3. I feel nauseous.


I feel I am going to vomit.


I feel I am going to throw up.


All these mean that you feel like or have a sensation of vomiting.


Yet, to add on if you just do an action as if you are vomiting…. but you actually don’t vomit, then you could also use…..


I am retching.




4. The food is stale.


This means the food is spoiled or not in a state to consume and it is old…… 



5. He stepped in the cowpat.


This means he by mistake stamped in the cow dung.


Don’t step in the cowpat.


This means you should not stamp the cow dung.


Don’t step in the mud.


This means you should not stamp the mud.



6. There is a riot all over here.


This means there is a lot of fight, trouble and chaos in all over.



7. Throw the stale food away.







Throw the stale food out.


This means you should throw away the food because it is spoiled or not in a stage to consume.



8. She didn’t do it deliberately.


She didn’t do it intentionally.


This means she didn’t do anything with a motive or intention……



9. I stepped on your feet without my knowledge.


I stepped on your feet unintentionally.


This means you stamped somebody’s feet unknowingly……



10. He is raising dogs.

He is raising cattle.






This means he is growing dogs and cattle……
